It was Karyas last feature film.Casting had begun by February 1988. Ayu Azhari, who had previously appeared in several of Karyas works, took a small role. Tuti Indra Malaon, another actress who had appeared in several of Karyas works, was cast as Mrs. Padmo this was her last film role, as she died shortly before the films premiere. ........
